How many appointments or sessions will I need?
This depends on the individual. Many clients experience significant relief after just one session, feeling even better in the following days. Unlike other manual therapies, Fascia Stretch Therapy™ is designed to be pain-free. Some clients notice lasting improvements within a few sessions.
However, every body is different—those who engage in high-intensity training, competitive sports, or have endured chronic pain for years may need more time to achieve lasting results.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes, we have multiple payment styles to suit your needs.
Clients have the option to pay per session at the full drop-in rate or purchase multiple sessions available in packages.
For those wanting to be proactive in their own health, we encourage you to take advantage of the favourable rates offered through membership.
Do you work with children?
Yes! We tailor our services to children, with parental consent. A parent signature is required for children under 16.
Do you offer in home visits?
While I occasionally travel for full-day corporate events, individual house calls aren’t part of my business plan. The additional time, travel expenses and logistics make in home visits impractical and subsequently cost prohibitive for individuals.
My practice is designed to deliver the best possible care within a studio (clinic) setting, ensuring optimal conditions for effective care.
What happens during a discovery call?
We’re here to answer any questions you have about our services before you book your first session. . We’ll discuss your current health and goals to decide how FST can help you with a personalized approach. We’ll also answer any questions you have before you book your first session.
Do I need a doctor's referral for Fascia Stretch Therapy?
No. A doctor’s referral is not required to undergo FST™ treatment at Unwind.
Are you covered by insurance?
Insurance coverage is dependent on the provider and the depth of your plan. We recommend you check with your extended health benefits insurance provider to confirm their requirements for claims under assisted stretching or alternative healthcare.
We also recommend checking under your employee benefits package, as Fascia Stretch Therapy™ is most often reimbursed under an HSA (health spending account) or FSA (flexible spending account).
Are you a direct billing provider?
Due to the vast differences in insurance providers and extended healthcare plans we are unable to provide direct billing services. However, we are happy to provide any information that clarifies our services and your treatment plan in response to a direct request from your provider, with your prior written authorization.
Can I use my Extended Benefits or HSA/FSA?

Why do I need to provide a credit card to book an appointment?
A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointment times, whether the session is a complimentary call or service appointment, much like a hotel requiring a credit card to hold a reservation. While a complimentary discovery call has no fee, the value lies in the dedicated time the practitioner has reserved for you.
This policy helps ensure commitment to scheduled appointments and in doing so ensures equal opportunity to available time slots.
Clients may choose their preferred payment method at the time of service, regardless of the card on file. We do not collect payment in advance. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, charges may apply as outlined in our cancellation policy.
